Abstract

Animation as instructional media in listening comprehension education can provide students with rich material circumstances with the instruction of real language. Students will be motivated, and students' listening skills, will increase. The study aims to determine whether there is significant effect on students’ listening skill after implementing animated videos. This research is a quas-experimental research that used a control class and an experimental class. The sample in this study was 11th Grade Students at MAN 1 Model Bengkulu, totalling 56 students. Listening tests were used to collect data in this study, the data will be analyzed descriptively using the T-test formula. The result showed that were was a significant effect on students’ listening skills after being taught using animated videos. Can be concluded there is a difference of listening achievement between the students who are taught using animation and students who are not taught by using animatio
