Abstract
Mobile learning is a powerful tool that necessitates various media for displaying learning materials, communication, and information systems for students and teachers to share information. Therefore, this study aims to find out the EFL students’ responses toward Ruangguru application as an online learning media. The research model is sentiment analysis. Sentiment analysis is used to analyze user response to the Ruangguru application through the review column on the Google Play Store website. The data taken consists of two, primary data and secondary data. The primary data is in the form of responses from 211 Ruangguru application users in the comments column. While secondary data is in the form of research results that are in accordance with this research, such as journal articles, books, and other scientific papers. To collect primary data, the authors use the scraping method with the help of the ScrapeStormap application. Not only that, the author also uses the manual method by checking comments one by one. The results showed that positive comments about Ruangguru reached 59.3%, negative comments reached 13.9%, and mediocre comments reached 26.7%. And on the results of English skills students 73% speaking and listening are more dominant showing an increase in children's creativity.
