Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of Duolingo on enhancing students' grammar proficiency. This study employs a quantitative approach and is conducted at XI MIPA 1 of SMAN 9 Kota Bengkulu. In this research, the researcher selects one class as the sample, consisting of a total of 20 students. The data is collected by administering a pre-test and a post-test as the research instruments. The research findings are analyzed using a T-test. The findings reveal that the post-test score (81.0) is significantly higher than the pre-test score (67.75). The results indicated by the ttest show that the t calculation value (7.416) is higher than the t-table value (1.208) at a significance level of 5%. This discovery demonstrates that Duolingo yields significant improvements in the grammar proficiency of 11th-grade students at SMA N 9 Kota Bengkulu.
