Abstract

This research discusses related issues 1. How is the National Police Chief's regulation Number 6 of 2028 implemented regarding the procedures for filing divorce and reconciliation for members of the National Police who apply to marry members of the National Police at the Bengkulu Regional Police based on Islamic Law? What is Islamic Law's view of the National Police Chief's regulation Number 6 of 2028 concerning procedures for filing for divorce and reconciliation for members of the National Police who apply to marry members of the National Police at the Bengkulu Regional Police based on Islamic Law. This research aims to analyze the procedures for filing for divorce and reconciliation at the Bengkulu Police Human Resources Bureau Bagwatpers which is analyzed using a review of Islamic law. The type of research used is empirical juridical or field research, namely direct research at the location of the research object, where the researcher visits and examines the Bengkulu Police Human Resources Bureau's Bagwatpers as the research object by means of documentation and interviews. As for the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Perkap Number 06 of 2018 at the Bengkulu Police Human Resources Bureau's Headquarters regarding divorce matters is carried out first by guidance and mediation before the leadership decides to grant permission for divorce or not to the member concerned (divorce is the last option) and for couples who want to reconcile, the leadership ensures that the reconciliation is based on the will and willingness of both parties and speeds up the process of permission to reconcile for couples who want to reconcile. Judging from Islamic Law, the procedures applied at the Bengkulu Police Human Resources Bureau's Bagwatpers regarding procedures for divorce and reconciliation of members contain good benefits in terms of preserving religion, life, offspring and property.
