Abstract

The objectives of this study were, to examine the learning process of hybrid learning strategies assisted by EFL Zenius used by teachers as perceived by students, and to find out what the advantages and disadvantages of the hybrid learning strategies assisted by EFL Zenius used by teachers as perceived by student in the 2nd year of the pharmacy department at SMK N 1 Kaur in academic year 2022/2023. The type of research used is field research, and it is included in qualitative research. The informants in the study amounted to 23 students of, class XI senior high school and 2 English teachers. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that: The process of implementing hybrid learning strategies is through several stages, the stages include Stage one, Learning Preparation. Stage two, Synchronous Learning. Stage three is Mutual Cooperation. cooperation is the equivalent of the word collaborative. Stage four is self-learning. The self-learning process is a reflection process. Stage five. Asynchronous learning. In this process. at this stage, students reflect on learning with the links shared by teachers in Zenius. Stage six. Synchronous Learning. At this stage, the process of reinforcement, conclusions, and classical reflection on learning x outcomes can be carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of using hybrid learning strategies in learning English include: First, continue to utilize technology. Second, students understand the material better, and they are more disciplined in submitting assignments or taking online classes. Fourth, students are more disciplined in submitting assignments or taking online classes. However, it seems that hybrid learning also has some disadvantages as follows: First, you have to use a stable internet network. To be able to access this application the network must be stable because if the internet errors, the learning process will be slow. Second, manipulation often occurs. For example, students use other applications in the learning process
