Abstract

Fluency is the one of important factor in presentation, but the most of speaking students are not fluent when do presentation. The aim of this research is to find out the 4th semester students‟ fluency level on presentation performance at English education program in UINFAS Bengkulu. This research used the descriptive quantitative method. The Sample of the research consisted 25 students at the fourth semester students which were taken by random sampling. The instrument of the research was used to get the data from test and documentation, speaking test in presentation given to students with 5 minutes and then recorded, after that the result of the voice recording are converted into documentation. The result of the research, it was found that the mean score of fourth semester students was categorized as intermediate level (50, 9). the percentage score from 25 students were 44% students got the intermediate level, 32% students got good level, 12% students got the advance level, and 12% got the limited level which was 11 students in level 2 (intermediate), 8 students in level 3 (good), 3 students in level 4 (advance), and 3 students in level 1 (limited). It was indicated that the most of the students in fourth semester at English language education study program of UINFAS Bengkulu have intermediate in speaking that categorized in the under normal score.
