Abstract

The study's objectives are to: (1) identify the learning objectives and requirements of class X students majoring in hotel accommodations at SMKN 7 BENGKULU, BENGKULU, and (2) create English-speaking resources suitable for these students. Research and development (R&D) is the term for this kind of study. Class X AP 1 and X AP 2 students majoring in hotel accommodations at SMKN 7 BENGKULU served as the research subjects. A needs analysis questionnaire served as the study's instrument. Conducting a needs analysis, creating a material framework, creating the first draft of the material, consulting experts on the first draft, and then refining and developing the final draft are the steps involved in this research. Frequency and percentage were used to quantitatively examine the data from the needs analysis, while descriptive statistics were used to assess the data from the material evaluation.
