Abstract

Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH University is the oldest private tertiary institution (PTS) in Bengkulu City and organizes Islamic religious education learning as MKWK (Compulsory Curriculum Course) in which there are Religious Friday activities as a continuation of the Islamic Religious Education Course. The purpose of this research is to find out how to evaluate Religious Friday activities in socio-culturally based Islamic Religious Education Learning at the University. Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH (UNIHAZ) Bengkulu. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with analytical techniques using the CIPP Model. Research data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. After analyzing and processing the data using Nvivo, it can be concluded that the results of this research show that the implementation of religious Fridays in Sociocultural-based Islamic Religious Education Learning at Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH Bengkulu University, has been carried out proportionally and is carried out routinely face to face every Friday. The diverse backgrounds of students who are the objects of research, and consisting of dozens of ethnicities and regional origins gathered in one place and time, have given rise to different interaction patterns, and a sociocultural basis is the main option in this case. The sociocultural-based evaluation of Religious Friday activities in this research still needs to be optimized in several aspects, including the evaluation of PAI material, student interaction rules, access to monitoring student activities, optimization of facilities and infrastructure, special reports on student religious activities and direct or indirect observation of student attitudes.
