Abstract

This research aims to increase students' vocabulary by utilizing the Hello Application as a learning media. The design of this research is Classroom action research with four meetings in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 34 students from seventh grade students at SMPN 5 Kota Bengkulu. Researcher use four instruments to collect data, namely interview, observasi, field notes, and test. The results showed that students' vocabulary can increase by utilizing the Hello English application, where in the first cycle shows the results of the average student score, namely 71,17 and for cycle II after reflection there is an increase. The average increase in students is 81,17. In cycle I there is 44,11% (15 students of 34 students) who earned a score of 75. Pada siklus II terdapat 100% (34 siswa dari 34 siswa) who earned a score of 75.
